Day 1 : Arrive in ENDE in the afternoon– Drive to MONI 60 km – 2 hours
Arrive in ENDE. Meet your local Guide upon arrival. Transfer to Moni located 2 hours East of Ende overnight at Kelimutu Ecolodge.
Day 2 : MONI – KELIMUTU – ENDE – BLUE STONE BEACH – BAJAWA (B) 180 km – 6 hours
Wake up call at 3.30 AM Start at 4 AM and proceed ( 30 min. ) from Kelimutu Eco Lodge in Moni to the entrance of Kelimutu Carter lake National Park (30 to 45mn drive). 30 mn walk to the three crater lakes to attend sunrise. Return to Kelimutu Eco Lodge for shower + breakfast and check out. Drive back to Ende with stop en route to visit local market Nduaria + traditional Lio village Saga
Afternoon : continue to Bajawa (4 hours’ drive) with stops on the way for a walk at the Blue pebble beach located near Nangapanda. Late afternoon check in at happy Happy Guest house or similar. O/N at Happy Happy Guest house in Bajawa
Day 3 BAJAWA – morning visits of LUBA & BENA traditional NGADA villages – PM drive to RIUNG (B) 75 km – 3 hours
At 08.30 Morning sightseeing around Bajawa : First Stop to visit a bamboo plantation and for some scenic view over Mt Inerie. Arrive at Luba traditional Nagda village – visit the village with its traditional houses + short 15mn walk to the nearby Bena village the most impressive of all Ngada villages In the afternoon drive to Riung with stop at Soa Hotspring. Afternoon check in at Pondok SVD for Overnight.
Day 4: RIUNG Marine PARK (B,L)
Enjoy a full day of island hoping around Riung 17 pristine islands – a chain of Large and small uninhabited islands : their coastlines are pure white sandy beaches : watch flying foxes at Ontoloe island, swim and snorkel (equipment provided) and relax on a white sandy beach enjoying the peacefulness of Tiga and Rutong island.
Note : private local motorized charted boat + snorkeling equipment + pique nique lunch provided
Return to Riung in the afternoon. Overnight in Riung in at Pondok SVD
Day 5 : RIUNG – ENDE PM Departure flight with GA to LBJ or DPS (B) 130 km – 4 ½ hours
Early departure. After breakfast drive from Flores North Coast to the South Coast via Mbay to Ende.
At Ende (if time permits) short visit of the house when former president Soekarno was sent to exile (closed on Fridays and Public Holidays). Transfer to airport for you onward flight (note: can only be afternoon flights out of Ende)
