Day 1

 

Labuan Bajo – Rinca Island – Komodo (L,D)
Our purpose today is to see the Komodo Dragon. This largest living lizard on earth lives on 3 islands Rinca, Padar & Komodo and some parts of West Flores. Its length can go up to 3 meters with weight of up to 90 kilo.Upon arrival at Labuan Bajo on the island of Flores you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to Labuan Bajo harbour. Here boarding to cross to less famous Rinca island. Lunch on board. After 1 ½ hour sailing we reach Loh Buaya. Led by a local ranger 2 hour soft trekking through forest and savanna. Komodo Dragons are often spotted on the way. From the highest point on this hike a beautiful panorama of the surrounding island. Then proceed to Komodo island. This trip over blue tropical waters and past hundreds of small island will take approximately 3 hours until Pink Beach . Here lunch and time to discover the splendid underwater world of these rich waters (snorkels and fins are provided). Dinner and overnight* on Board
Day 2 Komodo Island & Pink Beach – Labuan Bajo (B,L)
Morning breakfast on board. On to visit Komodo island and make a walk (1 hour) with a local ranger in search of the Komodo dragons. During your visit also wild buffalo, deer, pigs and various species of tropical birds like the Cockatoo can be seen. Return to Labuan Bajo will take around 4 hours. Upon arrival at the harbour transfer directly to Lbj Apt to catch the flight for next destination.

NOTE: This program can be executed only if the arrive by earliest Flight (Garuda) on day 1 and depart by latest flight on day 2 ( Garuda last flight )

* Note: overnight on board is very simple: mattresses with sheets under a covered deck.  Toilet is simple at the rear end of the boat.
