DAY 01 : WAMENA – WANGGEMALO
Arrive
by first morning flight from Jayapura connect with
By MAF missionary charter flight to Wanggemalo in 70
minutes, arrive at Wangeemalo and transfer to your
accommodation while your guide make further
preparation for next day trip. Lunch, dinner and
overnight stay at local house using your own tent.
DAY 02 : WANGGEMALO – ARENO
After
breakfast trek to Areno village through swampy area
via prime forest for 7 to 8 hours. We will passing
several river. Lunch enroute. Afternoon arrive at
Areno for dinner and overnight stay at local house
using tent.
DAY 03 : ARENO – JUNGLE
After
breakfast, walk thru the forest trail to reach
Yaniruma for 9 hours, however will decide later
whether to keep on going reaching Yaniruma or stay
overnight at the tent. Dinner provided by the cooks.
DAY 04 : JUNGLE – YANIRUMA
Breakfast served by cooks, continue your trek in 4
to 6 hours to Yaniruma village where you will
welcomed by the Koroway people to show you their
house, lunch enroute. Afternoon you'll have a chance
to learn the way of life Koroway Tribe. Dinner and
overnight stay at local house using your own tent.
DAY 05 : YANIRUMA – WAMENA
After
breakfast by MAF chartered flight to Wamena. On
arrive Wamena check-in to the hotel for lunch,
dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 06 : WAMENA – SOGOKOMO – KURIMA –
SYOKOSIMO
Transfer
to Sogokomo or Kurima by car in 45 minutes, then
trek around 5 hours to get Syokosimo through nice
view and scenery. In the afternoon you have a chance
to experience the daily life and activity of Native
people. Dinner and overnight stay at local house.
DAY 07 : SYOKOSIMO – HITUGI
After
breakfast, trek and explore further to Hitugi
village for about 5 hours, your cooks will served
the lunch box, arrive Hitugi village for dinner and
overnight stay.
DAY 08 : HITUGI – SEIMA – SOGOKMO – WAMENA
Continue
trek down to Kurima through the rain forest across
Yuarima river, enroute lunch will provided,
afternoon arrive at Kurima, by car transferred to
Wamena for dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 09 : WAMENA – JAYAPURA - DEPARTURE
After
breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to
Jayapura. Upon arrival at Sentani airport of
Jayapura direct connect with your onward flight |
