DAY 01 :
JAYAPURA ARRIVAL
Arrive
at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meet and transfer to
check-in at Matoa Hotel for dinner and overnight
stay.
DAY 02 :
JAYAPURA – WAMENA – KURIMA
After
breakfast early transfer to the airport for flight
to Wamena. Arrive at Wamena airport met by your
guide and proceed visiting Nayak market. After lunch
at local restaurant, transferred to Sogokmo by car
then proceed by walk in 2.5 hours to Kurima for
dinner and overnight stay at teacher's house.
DAY 03 :
KURIMA – SYOKOSIMO
After
simple breakfast, continuing the trek to Syokosimo
in 4.5 hours seeing the daily life activities of
Dani's people. Lunch served enroute. Dinner and
overnight stay at local house.
DAY 04 :
SYOKOSIMO – HITUGI
After
simple breakfast, continue trek to Hitugi thru the
beautiful villages enroute for 5 hours. Lunch will
be provided enroute. Dinner and overnight stay at
local house.
DAY 05 :
HITUGI – SEIMA – SOGOKMO – WAMENA
After
simple breakfast leave Seima to Wamena via Sogokmo,
lunch serve enroute. On arrival Sogokmo transfer to
your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Wamena.
DAY 06 :
WAMENA – JIWIKA – WAMENA
After
breakfast at hotel, transfer by car in 30 minutes to
Jiwika for climb up the saltmine in 1 hour, to see
how the Dani's woman making salt by the simple way.
Walk down in 50 minutes to Sumpaima villages to see
the old Mummy (wimontok mabel) of mabel family.
Lunch at Lauk Inn. After lunch visiting the anomoigi
village by walking in 45 minutes for enjoying the
Dani's Pig Feast and Etae Dance. Late afternoon
drive back to Wamena by passing thru Sinatma
tradisional hanging bridge. Dinner and overnight
stay at Baliem Palace Hotel.
DAY 07 :
WAMENA – JAYAPURA
After
breakfast, transfer by car to the airport for flying
back to Jayapura by MNA. Arrive at Sentani airport
of Jayapura, met by your guide, then proceed for
sight-seeing tour to Mc.Arthur Museum, University
Museum, Crocodile Farm, Hamadi Market for souvenir
shops then return to Matoa Hotel for lunch. The rest
of the day is free programs. Dinner at Jayagrill
restaurant located in Night Market which takes 15
minutes by walking, and then back to your hotel for
overnight stay.
DAY 08 :
DEPARTURE
After breakfast, you will transferred to
the airport for your onward flight to your next
destination |
