DAY01 : JAYAPURA
ARRIVAL
Arrive
at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meet by your guide
and proceed to transit lounge fly for Wamena (Baliem
Valley). Arrive at Wamena airport directly
check-in to the hotel, after lunch drive to Jiwika
for seeing Mummy and activity of Dani's
surrounding. Late afternoon back to your hotel for
dinner and overnight stay
DAY02 : WAMENA –
WANGGEMALAO
By MAF
Missionary Charter Flight to Wangemalao village,
arrive at airstrip of Wanggemalao walks 20 minutes
to your accommodation, while your guide make
further preparation you may explore a short trip
in Wamggemalao and surrounding. Lunch will
provided, dinner and overnight stay at local house
using your own tent.
DAY03 : WANGGEMALO –
ARENO
Whole
day walk to Areno village through swampy area thru
prime forest for 6-8 hours by crossing several
river. Lunch enroute. Afternoon arrive at Areno
for dinner and overnight stay at local house using
tent
DAY04 : ARENO – JUNGLE
Walking thru forest trail to reach Yaniruma for 9
hours, however will decide later whether to keep
on going reaching Yaniruma or stay overnight at
the tent. Dinner provided by the cooks
DAY05 : JUNGLE –
YANIMURA
Breakfast served by cooks, continue your trek in 4
to 6 hours to Yanimura village where you will
welcomed by the Koroway people bringing you to
their house, lunch enroute. Afternoon you'll have
a chance to learn about their traditions. Dinner
and overnight stay at local house
DAY06 : YANIRUMA –
BASMAN
Today
we will going down to Dairam Kabur River to reach
Basman village for about 5 hours. Afternoon arrive
at Basman, dinner and overnight stay using tent
DAY07 : BASMAN –
BENERBIS – SENGGO
After
breakfast using motorized canoe to Binerbis
village then continue to Senggo thru Widelman
river for 4-6 hours. Arrive at Senggo for dinner
and overnight stay at local house
DAY08 : SENGGO –
WAMENA - JAYAPURA
After
breakfast walk to Senggo airstrip to catch your
flight back to Wamena by charter flight MNA.
Arrive at Wamena direct connecting with local
commercial flight to Jayapura. |
