DAY
01 : JAYAPURA ARRIVAL
Upon arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura you
will be transfer to the hotel for dinner and
overnight stay.
DAY
02 : JAYAPURA – WAMENA – JIWIKA – WAMENA
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your
flight departure to Wamena which take 45 minutes.
Arrive at Wamena airport, direct transfer and
check-in at Baliem Palace Hotel or similar. Then by
car transfer to Jiwika for climb-up the saltmine (1
hour) to see how the Dani's woman making salt by
their tradisional way. Then walk down to Sumpaima
village to see the old Mummy. Lunch at Lauk Inn,
afternoon return to Wamena, dinner and overnight at
Baliem Palace Hotel or similar.
DAY
03 : WAMENA – SOGOKMO – TANGMA
After breakfast, transfer to Sogokmo by car or
truck then proceed walking to Tangma, explore the
Dani community and life for about 5.5 hours. Lunch
will be provided enroute with lunch box. Dinner
provided in the local house and overnight stay at
tent.
DAY
04 : WAMENA – IBIROMA
After simple breakfast, proceed your trekking in
4 hours to Ibiroma. Lunch will provided enroute.
Dinner provided at the local house in the village.
Overnight at tent.
DAY
05 : IBIROMA
After simple breakfast, full day enjoying the
Dani Pig Feast and Dance. Lunch box provide, dinner
at local house. Overnight at the tent.
DAY
06 : IBIROMA – USEREM
After simple breakfast, walk down to Userem by
crossing the hanging bridge of Baliem River in 3.5
hours. Lunch provide enroute. Dinner will provide at
local house. Overnight at tent.
DAY
07 : USEREM – SEIMA – SOGOKMO – WAMENA
After simple breakfast, walk along the Baliem
river to Sogokmo via Sitnama for 5.5 hours then
proceed by car or truck return to Wamena, dinner and
overnight at Baliem Palace or similar.
DAY
08 : WAMENA – JAYAPURA DEPARTURE
After breakfast, transferred to the airport for
your flight to Jayapura then connect with flight to
your next destination |
