DAY 01 : WAMENA – WANGGEMALO
Fly
with chartered MAF missionary flight to Wanggemalo
for 70 minutes. Arrive at airstrip at Wanggemalo
walks for 20 minutes to your accommodation while
the guide making further preparation. You may
explore little trip in Wanggemalo surrounding.
Lunch will be provided. Dinner and overnight stay
by using your own tents
DAY 02 : WANGGEMALO – ARENO
Whole day walk to Areno thru the swampy area under
the dense rain forest for 6 hours. Lunch en route.
In the afternoon arrive at Areno. Dinner and
overnight stay at local house or at your own tents
DAY 03 : ARENO – JUNGLE
Walking through falling wood to reach Yaniruma, we
might stay overnight in the tents in the middle of
the jungle then continue to Yaniruma the next day.
DAY 04 : JUNGLE – YANIMURA
Breakfast served by the cooks, continue trek to
Yanimura village for 4-6 hours. You will be
welcomed by the Korowai people to visit their
house. Lunch box served at the village, in the
afternoon you will have the chance to learn the
way of life Koroway Tribe. Dinner and overnight
stay at local house by using your own tents.
DAY 05 : YANIRUMA –
BASMAN
Today
we are going to Dairam Kabur river to reach Basman
village for 5 hours, arrive in the afternoon at
Basman dinner and overnight stay at local house or
at your own tents
DAY 06 : BASMAN –
BINERBIS – SENGGO
After
breakfast by motorized canoe to Binerbis village
then continue to Senggo via Widelman river for 4-6
hours, arrive at Senggo for dinner and
overnight stay at local house
DAY 07 : SENGGO –
WAMENA
Return
to Wamena by special Missionary Chartered flight
for 70 minutes, transfer to hotel for dinner and
overnight stay. |
