DAY
01 : JAYAPURA ARRIVAL
Upon
arrive Jayapura airport, meeting service then
transfer to check-in at Ratna Hotel or similar at
sentani. Dinner served at local restaurant –
overnight.
DAY
02 : JAYAPURA – WAMENA
After
breakfast, early transfer to the airport for flight
departure to Wamena. Arrive at Wamena airport you'll
be transfer to hotel, then to visit local market,
proceed by car to Jiwika for climb the Mt. Mili for
its saltmine to see how the Dani's woman making salt
by traditional way. Dinner and overnight at the
hotel.
DAY
03 : WAMENA – SOGOKMO – SEIMA – KURIMA – IBIROMA
After
breakfast, by car or truck we drive to Sogokmo for 1
hour, then walking to Kurima thru Seima in 2.5
hours, proceed to Ibiroma for 3 hours. Dinner and
overnight at local house.
DAY
04 : IBIROMA
After
simple breakfast, full day enjoying Pig Feast and
Dance of the Dani's tribal ceremonies, all meals
provided and served, overnight at local house.
DAY
05 : IBIROMA – USEREM
After
simple breakfast continue the adventure for about
3.5 hours walking to Userem. Lunch served enroute.
Dinner and overnight at the local house.
DAY
06 : USEREM – PUKAM
After
simple breakfast, trek/walking for about 7 hours
thru the rain forest trail and war border line.
Lunch/dinner and overnight at the local house.
DAY
07 : PUKAM
After
breakfast, remainder of the days – free program
either to explore and enjoying the surrounding at
your own. Lunch/Dinner and overnight at local house.
DAY
08 : PUKAM – WESAGALEP
After
breakfast begin the 5 hours trek to Wasangalep.
Lunch/Dinner and overnight at local house or
teachers house.
DAY
09 : WASANGALEP – TANGMA
After
breakfast trek/walking down to Tangma for about 6
hours. Lunch/Dinner and overnight at the Missionary
or Teacher Houses.
DAY
10 : TANGMA – SOGOKMO – WAMENA
After
breakfast leave Tangma by trek to Sogokmo in 6 hours
where you'll be pick-up by car and transfer to
Wamena. Lunch served enroute, dinner and overnight
at hotel in Wamena.
DAY
11 : WAMENA – JAYAPURA
After
breakfast, transfer to airport for return flight to
Jayapura. Directly take a short city tour enroute to
check-in at hotel by to visit Mc. Arthur war
memorial, University or State Museum, Crocodile
farm, Hamadi market and souvenir shops. Lunch and
dinner at hotel.
DAY
12 : JAYAPURA DEPARTURE
After
breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight
departure to the next destination |
