4DAYS WEST TIMOR
WEAVING EXPEDITION
Day 01 : BALI - KUPANG (TIMOR ISLAND)
We will pick you up at
the hotel in Bali and transfer to the airport for your departure to
Kupang aboard on Merpati Nusantara Airlines flight or Star Airlines. On arrival at Kupang airport,
our local staff will meet and greet you before transfer to your hotel in
Kupang. In the afternoon, drive to Baun visiting the historical Amarasi
palace and see how the Timorese women on their traditional Ikat weaving.
Dinner and Overnight at
hotel
Day 02 :
KUPANG - SOE
Breakfast served at
the hotel and then depart to Boty with on the way stop at Lopo to see
the Timorese traditional houses. Arrive at Boty see the local
lifestyle and their culture and also you have a chance to see the
process of Ikat weaving. Please note that the there are various
style of Timorese Ikat weaving. they do have own style each other. In the afternoon drive to Soe for
dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03 : NIKI - NIKI - KUPANG
Breakfast at the hotel then drive to Niki-Niki visiting King Nope's
palace and also have your chance to see different style of Ikat
weaving. Continue
to Kupang - check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 04 : KUPANG - DEPARTURE
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for your fight
departure.
