TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01: Bali - Labuan Bajo - Rinca Island
Pick up service at the hotel in Bali and transfer to the airport leaving for Labuan Bajo (in the western part of Flores island). Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo, our local staff will pick you up and transfer to the harbor to embark boat cross to Rinca island. On your arrival in Rinca start your trekking, walking through the typical dry forest to explore the Komodo dragon, island itself, wild animals and various species of tropical birds. You are sometime see the wild horses, wild buffalo, deer (rusa) and wild pig. Keep your eyes look above as sometime you will find the young Komodo dragon are on the trees. A local ranger will lead you to enter this nature preservation. After discovery the land and its life, we return to boat. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 02: Rinca Island - Bidadari - Labuan Bajo - Ruteng
Very early in the morning we slowly boating to Bidadari Beach, water activities include snorkel through the beautiful coral and reef will take place at Bidadari Beach. Breakfast is served on board. After snorkel, we return to Labuan Bajo - proceed transfer to Ruteng. In the evening arrive in Ruteng check in at Dahlia Hotel or similar.
Day 03 : Ruteng – Liang Bua –Iteng -Dintor – Denge
Early in the morning after breakfast visit Liang Bua, where the Hobbit (homo floresiensis was found, back to Ruteng and continue drive via Golo Lusang to Iteng, some stops on the way is possible, Lunch will be provided in Iteng. Afternoon drive through the southtern costal to Dintor and denge (some stops are possible en route). Dinner and overnight at Family house in Denge.
Day 04 : Denge - Wae Rebo Village
After light breakfast, start your 4 hours tracking to Wae Rebo village. the Authentic Housing of Manggarai, located about 1000m above sea level , in the middle of mountain. All are traditional houses, with really high roofs and they are on 5 levels - the top four are mainly used for storage and all the living areas are on the bottom. We will stay in a house with 8 families. Here you have chance to keep in touch with the people and learnt by seeing, asking, and feeling their culture, life and activities. Sleeping mattresses will be provided. Dinner and overnight will be at the local villager’s house.
Day 05: Wae Rebo – Denge – Dintor -Labuanbajo
Breakfast, then trekk down to Denge village, lunch will be provided in Denge, after lunch drive to Labuanbajo via Dintor and Nangalili (depend on the road condition, otherwise we will change the route through Todo village to Labuanbajo). Dinner and overnight at Bajo Komodo Eco Lodge or Puri Sari beach hotel
Day 06 : Labuanbajo - Denpasar
Morning free program at your hotel, before transfer to the airport for the flight leaving for Denpasar.
