Orangutan Story - Rosmery Family
Rosmery.... She is really a good
mother. Her first adopted baby was
taken when she was on the age between
12 - 14. Now and then she took and
other baby when she was around 17 or
18 years old until she had her first
own baby during that period then
continuing having second baby 6 years
after.
To recognize her is not really
difficult. You can meet her at the
second camp of Pondok Tanggui, She is
around 120 cm tall, she has dark face
and one of her eye look like got
cataract. She has .......right in the
middle of her forehead also with
little ...... at her hair style.
As the other mother, today she has
small baby who always cling on her
shoulder and her first baby who still
come with her.

Name : Tosido
We are really sorry that we could not

He is big now,
Quite difficult to see him, he went to
the wild looking for his own home range
territory, Grown cheek pad decorated at
his both cheek.
Rusmery's second adopted
baby
Name : Darmono
We are really sorry that we could not
get his Picture.
Easy to identified him, even from far
distance, He always travel with his
adopted mother even the mother has an
other real baby. He always respond when
ever we call them, almost like crying,
or when ever he walk on the ground on
the way to feeding platform, he doing
the same thing (crying) all the way to
there. So we can recognized from a
distance if the will join at the feeding

Rica born in the wild when rosmery had
adopted baby. Now she was around 10 to
11 years old and still traveling with
mother.
Rootnie is also born in the wild, he was
around 3 years old now, and try to leave
mother and play with other baby or
sometime play with his sister when ever
the mother take a rest. And come back to
mother shoulder when the mother ask him
to move. |
