The hotel memorable theme-parties include the
elegant "Royal Rijstaffel Dinner" that
reflects the merging of Indonesian and Dutch
dining traditions. "Rijsttafel"
consists of many dishes with each item having a
distinctive flavor and character, accompanied
with steamed rice. The lively "Jungle
Night" is a light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek
party, making it a tropical fantasy amusingly
brought to life. Invitations in coconuts set the
tone as guests arrive to amplified jungle
sounds, including Tarzan's legendary cry and the
beat of tribal drums marks the arrival of the
Asmat tribe who escorts guests to dinner. On the
other hand, the Night in Nusantara party
features the flavors, sounds and dance from the
13,000 islands that form Indonesia. Various
theme dinners from and different style coffee
break set-ups are available to create different
moods and atmospheres. The "Spice
Break" presents various exotic spices on
antique furniture, "Kopi Bali"
features coffee-flavored snacks and drinks with
various raw and roasted coffee beans on display
and "Wayang Jawa" will created a
traditional wayang performance impression.
Sporting activities include the first
championship standard 18-hole golf-putting
course on the island. The 657-yard course, total
par 64, was designed by Ronald Fream and is the
first at any Ritz-Carlton Hotel or Resort
worldwide. Active vacationers can also utilize
the Tennis Pavilion with three lighted courts
and a spa consisting of gymnasium, separate
men's and women's sauna, Turkish Baths and
massage rooms.
Hotel Dining
Padi restaurant, whose pavilions appear to
"float" on separate lily ponds,
features a predominantly Asian menu.
Sami-Sami is a casual, cliffside restaurant
offering innovative Mediterranean cuisine.
Damar Terrace offers fine cigars, beverages and
hors d'oeuvres throughout the day, as well as
afternoon iced teas.
Kisik Bar & Grill is steps from the beach
fronting the hotel and serves fresh and simply
prepared seafood.
Kubu Bar is a quaint hut on Kubu Beach,
providing fresh fruit and beverages to
sun-worshippers.
Children Facilities -
Younger guests ages four to ten can join The
Ritz-Carlton Kids, a daily program of supervised
activities specifically chosen to share the
enchanting world of Balinese art, drama and
traditions. Children will simply love the
layground and program of supervised activities
that shares the world of Balinese art, drama and
tradition. Some of the programs include a visit
to the hotel temple. Other include an
opportunity to "dress up" in Balinese
costume, in respect of the local culture while a
staff member shows how to prepare traditional
offerings on coconut leaf trays.

Bali's window on paradise beckons even the most
experienced conference and incentive meeting
attendees. The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom offers
595m2 of meeting space, seating 540 people for
dinner and includes intimate boardrooms and a
ballroom that can accommodate 700. Three other
meeting rooms range in size to accommodate
groups of 10 to 100 people. Separate outdoor
function space is available for gathering under
the stars.
